This is one of the most moving and powerful books I've ever read. Melody, an 11 year-old girl with Cystic fibrosis, loves words, yet she can't speak. She has a photographic memory and no one knows it! This book chronicles her experiences with her peers in a realistic and moving way. Every parent and child should read and discuss this book.

This is one of my absolute favorites! The rhymes and rhythms are masterfully done, and the story is delightful! This is a book that I don't mind reading over and over. Every time we read it, we discover something new and interesting in the illustrations. This is a must read!
