Author Visits

If your students like imaginative stories, then consider a visit from Kirsti Call to your school. Kirsti shows students (kindergarten through eighth grade) how to bring their writing to life through interactive games and activities. From finding ideas, to creating their own story and revising, Kirsti helps students learn about the process of publication. She also shows drafts, and notes for her own books. She likes working closely with students and answering their questions. Your strongest writers will go beyond themselves, and your less skilled students will surprise you and themselves with what they will accomplish.

"Last week all students enjoyed a wonderful presentation from Kirsti Call, with a published children’s book titled The Raindrop Who Couldn’t Fall. Her interactive presentation encouraged the children to be innovative when in the writing process. The theme of the book fit nicely with our curriculum… to remain positive and persistent when working towards achieving personal goals."
Dr. Mal Forsman, Principal of Bancroft Elementary School

“I love the story and games!"

“That was the best assembly I've ever been to!”

"I liked how we created our own story by picking objects from the basket".

"The presentation was really fun because we got to interact with Mrs. Call and participate- not just sit there and listen."

  1. For probably the most half, Windows Phone and Blackberry users will also have entry to apps, but in certain instances they could need to ante-up via an in-browser on line casino website. In distinction, cell slots similar to Merlin's Millions look extra like traditional on-line video games in a smaller setting.
